Brugmansia is a striking plant and highly ornamental with huge pendulous trumpet-like flowers. Here we have a salmon pink variety coming from a cutting from France, a yellow one from a cutting from north Tenerife, while the color of the others will be a surprise as they come from seeds. Most Brugmansia are fragrant in the evenings to attract pollinating moths but all parts of the plant are highly toxic if ingested. Angel’s trumpets have traditionally been used in many South American indigenous cultures in medical preparations and in religious or spiritual ceremonies.
