A wonderful but hard earned transformation from barren desert land strewn with builder’s rubble, the trees in the Gardens now provide cooling shade from the bright sun, the lawns a refreshing spot for picnics or relaxation, the multicoloured exotic blooms a joy for the senses. A feast of light, colors, and perfumes that attract an increasing number of birds and provide a constant source of pleasure for those residing at the Gar. The Gardens boast a wide variety of tropical fruit trees and palms, aromatic herbs, scented blooms and hybrid roses under the care of Alix de Fermor and her team.
